We are hosting our fourth KidFest on Saturday 13 August from 12 midday until 4pm as part of Kidderminster Arts Festival (KAF 2016). The Friends of St George's Park raise funds and organise this FREE arts and crafts event for children and families in the park. Our main event this year will be two performances by children's theatre company Liberty Rocks of The Wherever People a story of children that arrive in Kidderminster after travelling the world. There will be a covered wagon where the performances are set for children to explore and find out more about the Wherever People's journey to St George's Park. The Wherever People will perform at 13.00 and 14.30, the show runs for 30 minutes and is followed by an interactive workshop where children can explore the wagon and the technology inside it. There will also be many of the old favourites including Waste2Want craft workshops, the Library Bus, St George's Church craftmaking stall plus new attractions like the Royal Horticultural Society children's gardening project as part of the RHS/FoSGP/LEAP 'Greening Grey Britain' collaboration.
