Yesterday's LEAP workshop in partnership with Wyre Forest Islamic Community Group (WFICG) was a great success and a good time was had by all! The women of the LEAP team put on the planting workshop with four WFICG women and nine children at Kidderminster and District Youth Trust base the Youth House in Bromsgrove Street, Kidderminster town centre. The participants were all very keen and enthusiastic gardeners who did some sowing of mixed salad leaves, various herbs and sunflower seeds. There was also some very careful pricking out and potting on of summer cabbage seedlings by our young LEAPsters. For more information and pictures from the event please see the LEAP blog here - See the LEAP Blog post here :-
