If you can contribute to the success of the day in anyway and are interested in volunteering please contact the Friends of St George's Park either using the comments form below or by email.
We are looking forward to organising another great day for local residents and visitors of all ages, all are welcome, we hope you can come along and join in with the fun and discovery on the day. We are always looking out for new things to put on so if you are interested in making a contribution please get in touch and tell us about your idea.
FoSGP also have a policy banning helium balloons and chinese lanterns on health and safety as well as on environmental protection grounds so we do not allow these at any event we organise. Having said that we find ways of entertaining and delighting those who attend our free park events without squandering any scarce resources or creating other sorts of hazards in, or for, the community.
Please watch our What's On Page in the coming weeks and months for more information. In the meantime please remember our Carols in the Park event in partnership with St George's church on Friday 12 December at the shelter starting at 5.30pm.
Come and enjoy seasonal refreshments and carol singing to get into the spirit of the holiday season around the deep midwinter and run up to Christmas and the New Year. Again watch the What's On page for more info and updates on this and other developments in St George's Park - the People's Park - since 1927.
