Between 40 and 50 people turned out at 5.30 pm on a cold Friday evening in Kidderminster to celebrate carols in the park this year, making it our best year yet. Free Christmas refreshments tea, coffee, mulled wine, mulled fruit juice, Nicky's homemade mince pies and a selection of biscuits and cakes were provided by the Friends group and members of St George's Church. The singing was excellent throughout and the atmosphere in the park was appropriate to this celebratory time of year for so many faiths and diverse traditions. Thanks to everyone who came and especially to those who took part in the carol singing, you have made the event a great success - it has all gone very well indeed. A great gig all round - only the best for St George's Park grassroots projects and our partners.
