St George's Park shelter at 10 am to decide work party priorities.
All volunteers Welcome!
Some Light Refreshments Provided.
A work party is needed for St George's Park tomorrow morning, we will be meeting at the shelter at 10am whatever the weather to discuss planting fruit trees and the new raised beds. LEAP is becoming widely known in the area, it is about making the park feed the body and not just the soul of the community as a well loved green space. This is a philosophy not disimilar to that of St George's coffee shop at the church on Friday mornings and it was while visiting there today I was prompted to capture this image of LEAP - now beyond the park gates in the neighbourhood. Anyway ....please come if you can to help us move the Let's Eat the Park project forward and plant some more edibles in the parks and in the areas surrounding them.
