Work Party Help the Friends of the park to continue to shape and develop local green spaces in the Horsefair area of Kidderminster. Help plan the next phase of Let's Eat the Park, get some outdoor activity, work with good company and enjoy the refreshments at our weekly picnics in the park. As always work parties meet at the shelter at -10am and do a variety of tasks, community gardening, litter clear-ups and whatever needs to be done on the day. Some work takes place at Baxter Gardens Park in collaboration with the Friends group there and some work is in St George's churchyard where we maintain several LEAP bays. Come along get involved, go at your own pace and enjoy the benefits of being outdoors in the park, a green oasis on Kidderminster Ring Road, part of a wildlife corridor running close to the town centre.
