LEAP volunteers enjoyed a lovely Spring morning in the park today keeping it up to standard. As usual people stopped to chat with the team and to enjoy the park on the first really sunny and warm Saturday of 2016 so far. The team carried out a number of tasks including a park-wide litter pick, maintaining the upkeep of the stone circle, weeding and pruning the rockery, sweeping the tennis court, mowing the Labyrinth and a variety of other tasks that help to make the park look cared for. After all that work we celebrated Sue B's birthday with a delicious organic chocolate birthday cake that she made specially for the event. We got a lot done today and had a good time too.
