All in all it was a most successful evening, thanks in no small measure to Spike's skills as quizmaster and MC. The event was also an opportunity to unveil St George's Park QEII Fields plaque (of which more soon) and to again show off our Best Community Event 2013 Award to a suitably impressed gathering. Our thanks also to Trish and Chris at the Blue Bell for their hospitality and their help to put the event on, dank u!
Last, but definitely not least - thanks to all the volunteers and supporters of both Baxter Gardens and St George's parks for their energy and commitment throughout the year and to all the other parks Friends of groups who help to maintain and develop our green spaces as community assets and enjoyable places to be for the whole community.
So thanks a lot to everyone who made this community inspired and delivered event possible!
