Various scenes from FoSGP work party 11 October 2014 including the new Let's Eat the Park raised beds, autumnal colours, the work team and some shots of what volunteers are doing in St George's Park. Next week we are at Baxter Gardens helping to prepare that for LEAP planting. It was a busy but very rewarding day each person contributing at their own pace. It rained, it often does but it is great to see how the park looks when we have finished and the sense of common purpose shared by all who take part. The refreshments are very welcome too. So remember if you want to be a (work) party animal and get some activity in the outdoors that makes you feel good too, watch the website, LEAP blog and social media for updates and come along if you can.... it's worth it!
